IMPORTANT UPDATE

To:  APU Equipped Lifters,

Please be informed two important updates as follows:

Re. Team Selection for the 2023 Regional/ International Equipped Championships. 

The APU Board approved the SECONDARY selection for the 2023 Regional/ International Equipped Championships. 

Therefore, the two Selection processes are:

1. Primary selection = taken from 2022 National Equipped.

2. Secondary selection = taken from 2023 National Equipped.

Re. Special Consideration for 2023 State EQUIPPED

For some *volunteer that helped at APU Sanctioned local competition held after the 2022 Commonwealth Championships event and prior to the 2023 States Equipped, a special consideration to enter 2023 State Equipped Championship without participating in a local comp may be granted, using the 2022 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships results. The results achieved at the 2022 Commonwealth must satisfy the minimum grading to enter the State Equipped Championships.

*Provide evidence of volunteering in a local comp (as referee, spotter/loader, etc)
