Re: Clause 7.6 of APU Bylaws

APU encourages personal achievements made from athletes, officials, coaches and committees from grass roots to elite level.

APU recognises and displays a successful National record performance and is in the process of developing a consistent State record performance register for members of APU, under the conditions in the APU bylaws and regulations. These bylaws and regulations also provide a fair, balanced opportunity for the lifters to participate in an inclusive and managed sport.

  • APU’s Mission is “Promote and instil transparency, integrity and fairness in a drug free powerlifting community.

Your record is valuable to us, and so is the reputation of our organisation. APU retains the right to remove a person from the register of Australian and/or State Branch records, who:

  • Is found by means of the due process set out in the APU Anti-Doping Policy to have committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation
  • Is found by means of due process set out in the APU Constitution, By-laws, Regulations and its Policies, to have been involved with conduct which would be or is against the interest of the sport which has caused, or had the potential to cause an effect to the outcome of a competition.

Yours in Strength
